PUNIT is the biggest Pop group in Kenya and this has been proven by the numerous Awards bagged in some of Kenya’s premier Awards like Kisima and CHAT awards. The group consists of Frasha, Gabu and Bon’eye
They have released 4 songs in the last 2 years and Won 5 awards for the songs “Si Lazima”, “Kushoto Kulia and “Una”” with all the songs being instant Hits across the country and the bigger East Africa region.
The reason for this success is that they are able to address and Entertain in a language that the common man understands. Their Music falls under the Genge genre. Genge is a Swahili word for Mass and the group entertain the masses hence their phenomenal success.
