Originally from The Democratic Republic Of Congo (DRC) Melodie was born and raised in Kinshasa, Congo . She moved in the USA with her family at the age of 14 and settled in Portland,Oregon. After graduating from high school, she attended Oregon State University and graduated with a bachelor degree of science. Throughout her years of school, she studied music for a couple of years, participated in various musical events and recorded with some African artists.
Melodie started to sing at a very young age and always dreamed to become one of the most influential female African singers. It wasn’t until last year that she started her career as a professional singer. She debuted her career with two singles…” Shattered Heart” and ” Get on the Floor”.
